Eco-Point History

Since 1993, we have been working to create safer alternatives to hazardous cleaning and maintenance products. Over the last two decades, regulations have continued to change in order to improve health and safety for those using chemical products on a daily basis, alongside reducing any impact on the environment. Thanks to our proactive approach to research and development, we are able to stay ahead of the market, with our products serving industries including the private and public sectors, aerospace, transport infrastructure, leisure and all those in between.

1993

Eco-Point UK and EP Laboratories Ltd first incorporated at Pentagon Place, Chesham, UK. The company consisted of a small office and laboratory facilities. Eco-Point was formed as the customer-facing service arm of the group, whilst EP researched, designed and manufactured the end product.

1995

In 1995, the company moved to a new larger site at Orchard House Industrial Estate, Chesham, UK. The first manufacturing facility was also established.

1996

ISO 9001 accreditation was achieved in 1996 supporting our commitment to quality assurance.

1998

In 1998, our first food-safe lubricants were accredited by NSF and we invested in the installation of our first lubricant production line.

2001

New bulk storage and stock control system installed to improve workflow and management.

2014

In 2014, Eco-Point and EP Laboratories were acquired by Fisher Research Ltd.

2019

As market conditions and technology gradually change over time, the distinction between Eco-Point and EP has become blurred, and so in 2019, the two were amalgamated to form Eco-Point Laboratories Ltd – one company combining the best of both.
